Kitchen under the roof
It was in a Milanese historical building that I was honored to work.
I designed a kitchen area with the desire to respect the structure and the neoclassical lines of this 18th century "palazzo" by adding the modernity of its owner. A man in tune with his time.
I translated the minimalist and essential style of the client by the use of pure black.
I incorporated in the furniture all the storage and the elements necessary for this cooking lover, nothing comes to clutter this part of the house. The lack of handle and high storage contributes to the minimalist and the essential effect. As the kitchen is located under the roof, I wanted to keep the timbers. The placement of a large mirror helps to enlarge the room. The lights, meanwhile, were chosen in a recall to this customer' passion for sailing.
