City way of leaving

Cities'offer is more and more about small leaving spaces and we are all struggling to make our place looks bigger. The great news is that 30sq is the new 100sq! I personally love the challenge to fit all we need in a tiny space. Great solutions are now on the market and simply tricks can be created to feel great in a small space. From a studio to a tiny I will share with you great design I am in love with. Tiny space is the new place to live in!

A chic 25sq in Paris.

Let's start with this 25sq in Paris. One of my favourite project is this flat designed by Margaux Meza et Carla Lopez. The first tip to note on this project is how a separate bedroom has been created. Avoiding wall and choose visual or partial dividion. In this case a window on a wall. You can also imagine using different materials on the floor or colors on the  walls to visually separate atmospheres (like tiles and wood). The furnitures choose for this place are all minimal and light. It helps to give more space.

Chipboard 29 sq flat.

In this project the studio 3XA achieved to create separated spaces with a modern and eco conscious style. The high ceiling gives the opportunity to build a mezzanine for the bedroom keeping the rest on an open space. The stairs and the bottom of the mezzanine offer the space for a dressing and a librairy. They cleverly play with light colors and materials. Brilliant project!

Vintage style in 32 sq.

This box in a box offers a bathroom, bedroom and wardrobe to enjoy all the rest of the space. Created by studio Batiik, this flat mixes contemporary elements and original ones balanced by a studied design. Not one single centimeter is unnecessary. Amazing job for a space like this.

A big design for a tiny place.

This flat with a predominance of wood has been cleverly created to optimize any corner (by Denis Svirid) . A desk is hidden behind a mirror and lot of organisers have been designed. It is a functional and design space where you feel quickly at home.
